Selection Process

  1. Artists are required to complete and submit the GAAD online registration form by visiting the GACL’s website (gacl.org.au)
  2. The GACL may also independently approach artists who may be interested in having their profile on the Directory.
  3. The GACL will review the registration request and conclude whether the artist’s work is appropriate for the Directory. This decision is made at the discretion of The GACL.
  4. The two parties will remain in communication to acquire any necessary information for the artist’s profile.
  5. When the profile has been completed and is published to the website, the artist will be notified that their profile is live.

Maintenance of the GAAD

The Greek Australian Artist Directory is maintained by The Greek Australian Cultural League (GACL), Melbourne. Links and material provided to the GACL will undergo a thorough examination at the time of submission. Any later changes to website content that is shown via artist links, such as external social media accounts will not be monitored by the GACL unless notified. The GACL is a non profit cultural organisation. Hence, we are not authorised to directly link to any crowd funding pages, fundraisers, e-stores, or other commercial activities on artist profiles.
