O Ελληνο-Αυστραλιανός Πολιτιστικός Σύνδεσμος (Αναγνωρισμένο Σωματείο και βραβευμένο με το Meritorious Community Service Award από την τοπική Κυβέρνηση το 2007) ιδρύθηκε το 1970 και είναι ένας αφιλοκερδής οργανισμός. Οι σκοποί του είναι η προαγωγή, υποστήριξη και διασπείρωση του δημιουργικού έργου Ελληνο-Αυστραλών Καλλιτεχνών και Λογοτεχνών που η δουλειά τους κυρίως αντανακλά τον συγκερασμό του ελληνικού και του αυστραλιανού πολιτισμού και συμβάλλει στον εμπλουτισμό της λογοτεχνίας, των εικαστικών και ερμηνευτικών τεχνών.

NEW PODCAST SERIES, ‘POETRY IN THE ANTIPODES’
Since last December, SBS Greek has a new podcast series.
It is called ‘Poetry in the Antipodes’ and it is about the works of Greek-Australian poets.
Every Saturday, the SBS Greek program broadcasts the radio segment titled ‘Poetry in the Antipodes.’
This is a weekly series dedicated to Greek Australian poets.
Each week a new poet is invited onto the program. Each poet introduces themselves, discusses their work, and then recites their favourite poems from works that have been published in Australia, Greece, and Cyprus.
Some names so far: Kyriakos Amanatides, Dionysia Mousoura, Konstantinos Kalymnios, Yannis Milidis, Dimitris Troaditis, Christos Fifis and will follow names like Dina Amanatidou, Nikos Nomikos, Litsa Nikolopoulou-Goga, Ioanna Liakakou, Erma Vassiliou and more.
